From Rescue Pup to Pet Pro
When I was adopted, I was a nervous little girl with a big heart and some big feelings. But thanks to gentle, science-based training and lots of patience from my humans, Lilia & Bruno, I discovered how to trust, play, and grow into the happy pup I am today!
That experience shaped everything we do. My humans bring years of experience in dog training, pet sitting, and animal care. Together, we started Fofo’s Pet Care to help other pets (and their people) experience the same kind of transformation — right here in Elmore County, Alabama!
How We Got Started
Fofo’s Pet Care began in 2022 as a passion project alongside our family’s other business, Suncho School of Music!
Soon, we realized our pet sitting and dog boarding were helping more than just pets — we were giving people peace of mind. Word spread quickly, and more families in Wetumpka, asked us for help with in-home pet care and they started coming to us from nearby cities like Millbrook, Prattville, and Montgomery. That’s when we knew: pet care wasn’t just a passion project anymore, it was our calling!
From Passion to Professional Care
Because of their love for animals, Lilia & Bruno wanted to keep learning. By 2025, they started diving deep into learning all they can about dogs, cats, and farm animals. They studied science-backed dog training, got certified in pet first aid, and learned about fitness, nutrition, and health for both dogs and cats.
Today, we bring that same heart and knowledge into everything we do — from puppy training and pet boarding in Wetumpka, to house sitting, to helping nervous rescue dogs feel brave!
Giving Back to Our Community
Together, we also do animal charity work in our Alabama community. We’ve set up booths at pet fairs for nonprofits like Harley’s Dream (on a mission to end puppy mills), Paws Fur Pink (doggie fun run raising money for canine and human cancer treatment), and Shelter Hope Pet Shop. Whether we’re donating to established nonprofits or raising awareness for important animal welfare issues, we believe every pet deserves the same love and comfort I’ve been getting from my family ❤️

Over the years, we’ve cared for more hundreds of unique animals — from shy kittens to hyper puppies, senior dogs, rabbits, and even chickens!
